Let's answer some questions!
Let’s start off with the basics:
- Currently, all negotiations and arrangements are to be determined via communication between the buyer and seller. Please agree on who will pay for shipping, and pay via Paypal or Venmo, with purchase protection turned on.
- All transactions are at your own risk, see the guides below for best practices, but know that this is a peer to peer marketplace, returns terms are governed by the seller.
Selling
How do I sell?
Visit https://missandmatch.com/my-account/create-a-listing/ to post a shoe listing. You’ll need photos of the shoes. You can choose to sell your shoes individually or as a pair, or both ways if you’re flexible! Make sure you include details about the shoe such as condition.
How should I price my shoes?
Take into consideration that shoppers will have to pay for shipping. You can look on other resale sites to determine how to price your shoes. I recommend offering “Bundles” to sell shoes in bulk if possible.
Who pays for shipping?
This is determined between the buyer and seller. You can use the Shoe Location to estimate the shipping cost to your location. Once you’ve settled on purchasing terms, you can send the seller your address, and they can calculate shipping costs on their own, or you can create a prepaid shipping label and email it to them. I recommend paying via Paypal or Venmo and opting into purchase protection.
Buying
How to pay for shoes?
We reccomend paying via Venmo or Paypal. Choose Purchase protection. If you are paying for shipping, I recommend sending the seller a prepaid USPS shipping label for a medium box, which costs about $17.10 for anywhere in the continental US.
How do arrange a purchase?
Interested buyers can email you from your listing. Also, if you see on someone’s profile that they are a “Match” to your shoes, or that they’re interested in shoes you’re selling, you can email them with what you have to offer.
